Lil' Fencers Now Accepting New Students

First Fencers is a program for fencers from 6 - 8.  That program is a great program for young fencers to get their first taste of fencing.  It turns out that the kids under 6 wanted to fence too!  So we are starting a sister program to First Fencers called Lil' Fencers for fencers under 6. 

Does your child want to sword fight all the time?  This is the class for you.  Bring your child in and him or her try it and see if you have a Lil' Fencer in your house.  More details at:

Academy Annual Picnic

Come one, come all.  Saturday, August 16th will be our Annual Picnic at Lawrence Park.  The picnic starts after practice around 2 pm and will continue until you all are tired and want to go home.

Bringing a dish is encouraged but not required.  If you would like to bring one, please email us and let us know before the event what you will bring.

Pre-Season Mini-Camp

We will be having a pre-season Mini-camp the weekend of August 2-3, 2008.  This camp will be for all weapons.  The camp will gear you up for the new season.  Sing up today.  This camp is for competitors or recreational fencers of any level.

This class is an introduction to fencing history, traditions, basic footwork and bladework. You will be able to fence during the class and will be ready to continue fencing at a higher level when complete. Fencing is a physical sport. Please dress for an athletic activity. You are welcome to bring sports drinks or water with you. Water fountains are available but are not in the immediate area.
