First Fencers is a program for fencers from 6 - 8.  That program is a great program for young fencers to get their first taste of fencing.  It turns out that the kids under 6 wanted to fence too!  So we are starting a sister program to First Fencers called Lil' Fencers for fencers under 6.

We will be having a pre-season Mini-camp the weekend of August 2-3, 2008.  This camp will be for all weapons.  The camp will gear you up for the new season.  Sing up today.  This camp is for competitors or recreational fencers of any level.

We are finalizing locations and details for a fencing class to be located in Plainfield.  This class is still tentative but is scheduled to occur on Monday evenings in the 6pm neighborhood.

Provided there is interest, the goal of this class is to build a program for west side fencers.  We are negociating a long enough time slot to allow for beginners, intermedates and eventually advanced fencers.

When are classes?
Classes begin the first Saturday of each month at 11 a.m. with exceptions for Holidays.  The next class is always listed in the Upcoming Events section on the left.  For more information on classes visit our class list.

Below are the programs that the Academy is providing.  Please ask us questions and talk to us if you do not understand the programs or where you or your fencer should be.  Academy coaches are always glad to help you figure out where you need to be, answer questions for future competitors, and assist with purchasing your own equipment.
